From the Air Force to the humane society.
I served in the United States Air Force, including a deployment to Iraq and postings at overseas bases. I gave years of my life to service, and I carry that sense of duty with me every single day. I got out in 2009 and have been navigating life as a disabled veteran ever since.
After my service, I found a new calling at a local humane society, where I worked directly with cats - including feral and stray populations that most people never think about. I trained in the specialized care these animals need, learned how to earn their trust, and fell in love with the work.
Today I have 10 cats of my own - and honestly, I would have more if I could. Friends and family regularly come to me for help with their cats, whether it is caring for a sick animal, hand-raising newborn kittens, or figuring out what to do with a stray they found. This is not a hobby for me. It is who I am.
Stray Coin was born from that passion. I wanted to build something that uses the power of crypto to do real, measurable good for the animals that need it most. Every trade, every holder, every dollar donated - it all goes back to the cats.
